How To Flatten A Warped Board - Making A Waney Edge Cutting Board Using A Scrub Plane

In this video I use my scrub plane (converted from a rusty old Stanley no. 4 in a previous video) for the first time to flatten a beech board so that I can make a large waney edge cutting board.

Making A Scrub Plane From A Rusty Old Handplane

In this video I convert a rusty old Stanley no.4 handplane in to a very useful scrub plane.  I needed to spend some time restoring it, removing rust, and making everything work again and then I can put a camber on to the blade to allow me to hog off lots of material!

Room Renovation: Architrave, Skirting Boards, Decoration, Taping & Filling

In this video I install architrave, skirting base boards and do all the taping and filling and decoration to complete the renovation works for the two rooms in our bungalow. I also cover the total costs of the project to install a wall and doors, and show final reveal of the two completed rooms.

Fitting & Hanging French Doors

In this video I fit and install a pair of internal french doors following last week's video when I built a stud partition wall to create a new office space/guest bedroom for my fiance.  I'll show you how to hang doors, or at least how I do it anyway!  This is only the fifth door I've ever fitted, and it's my first time fitting french doors, so a bit of a learning curve but it went pretty well.

Here's the previous video where I built the wall:

Building A Wall In Our Bungalow

In this video I'll be building a stud partition wall in our home, a  1930s bungalow.

We needed to create an office space for Ria (my fiance) / guest bedroom so we chose to divide up a large space in the house that was used by the previous occupants as a living room.

I'll show you how to build a wall (or at least, how I build one!) and some tricks along the way.

Animal Print Coffee Table

In this video I use a salvaged rubberwood hardwood dining table top to make two coffee tables with metal legs.  One with an animal print design (could be tiger print, could be zebra print) engraved in to the top, and one plain, and I used some reclaimed metal legs for the base.

Geometric Plywood Plant Stand With Continuous Grain

In this video I make an octagonal geometric planter / plywood plant stand in a mid century modern style with tapered legs using some birch ply offcuts left over from a previous build.
