Making An MFT Top - No CNC, No Guide Jigs

In this video I make a MFT top for my new workbench / assembly table for use with bench dogs, fences and accessories without the use of a CNC or any expensive guide jig systems. Instead, I just use my usual workshop tools and a hand made jig to layout and drill the holes accurately. Consider it a poor man's MFT table for those who don't have the money for a Festool table or one of the fancy guide jig systems like the UJK Teechnology Parf Guide System.

Assembly / Workbench Table - Plus Vice Restoration

In this video I make the base for my new workshop workbench / assembly / work table. To be honest I'm not sure what to call it yet, but it's definitely going to get used for cutting sheet materials down to size and for assemblies, and I've decided to make an MFT top for it to maximise it's usefulness! I also restore and fit a Record 52 1/2 P vice which I bought secondhand, and add some castors.

Before & After Insulating My Garage - Sound Proofing Results. Plus Insulating The Internal Walls

In this video I compare the sound levels before and after adding insulation to my garage. I added an insulated ceiling, build a stud wall in front of the roller garage door, and in this video I also frame and insulate the internal walls in an attempt at sound proofing treatment to stop noise coming in from the nearby busy road and limit the sound of my machines for the sake of my neighbours. Plus it should be more thermally efficient - keeping the warm air inside in the winter months and the cool air inside in the summer months.

In this video I build an insulated stud wall in front of my roller garage door and install a secondhand PVC door. In this video I make a couple of simple and modern DIY corner floating shelves for our new living room. I used some offcuts of MDF and a piece of pine to make the shelf, and the whole project took a couple of hours to do - nice and quick. The floating shelf requires no specialist hardware or fixings.
