In this video I'm comparing the Mirka DEROS random orbital sander (which I have owned since February 2018) with a cheaper alternative Hyvst 350w sander from China. This random orbital sander appears to be the same machine as those available under different brand names: Sealey DAS150PS,  Menzer ETS 150, Pela ROS090, Delrem and possibly some others - although please note: I don't know for sure if they are actually all the same machine with the same components.

In this video I salvage some wood from some hardwood window frames and doors.  There was a real mixture of solid timber, laminated and fingerjointed staves of hardwood and face veneers, but well worth the effort!  Free wood is the best kind of wood. I'm not sure what species of wood these are, there's probably some meranti and mahogany in there among others...  This wood will be used to build a rocking chair for the Karl Pope Woodcraft Build A Chair Challenge on 5th December.

In this video I cover a recent woodworking project which we unfortunately didn't have time to film.  My brother asked me to help him make a multifunctional unit to fit in the bay window area of his living room for my neice Tabby.   It's kind of a platform, stage, play area, seat, radiator cover and storage thing all in one!
