Chunky Coffee Table commission

Large and low super chunky coffee table made from woods purchased from Mitchells’ reclamation yard.  3" thick top.

Stained dark teak and finished in a gloss varnish.  Commission for someone who found me via eBay

Corner Media Unit

Corner media unit made from rough sawn timber found in the shed when I moved in to my new home.  Stained dark teak, no finish applied.

Built for personal use.  Was meant to be a temporary fixture but it’s still serving me after 3 years...

Coffee Table

Coffee table made from spare wood salvaged from various alleyways and skips.

Stained dark teak, finished with gloss varnish and sold on eBay

Carved Penguin

Penguin made from a scrap of pine.  First ever attempt at carving.  Not very good!

Various stains used to colour and finished with a gloss varnish.

Dining Table

Dark teak dining table, top was made from reclaimed scaffold boards from Mitchells reclamation yard in Norwich, legs made from reclaimed fence posts.

Please note I didn’t make the chairs! They are very beautiful and I was lucky to find them on eBay, apparently they were handmade from weathered driftwood and originally bought from a shop in Great Yarmouth.

Getting the dining table finish to match the chairs wasn’t easy, but with a Rustins dark teak stain and a mahogany varnish to give it a red tint was close enough for my liking.  Finished with Briwax to protect the wood
